The award for Best R&D Pipeline went to FMC. With the acquisition of the former DuPont Crop Protection discovery organisation and pipeline, FMC transformed its licensing and development-based R&D model for crop protection chemicals into a discovery and development engine immediately competitive with other major discovery-based companies.
FMC also collected the award for Best Application Technology Innovation. 3RIVE 3D is a patent-pending system designed to deliver low volumes of crop protection solutions to the furrow during planting.
